I like and admire the Amish who live near me. They are hard workers, they make full use of everything their religion allows them to use. They have one of the lowest “carbon footprints” of anyone I know. And soon, you and I will be forced to live more like them than we do now, because of these idiots.
The Amish can be easily overrun by even the most ill-equipped army, because they don’t use guns. They cannot support any but themselves, because they do not engage in free-market capitalism for profit, but instead live a basically self-sustaining lifestyle. Good for them, if that’s how they want to live. But the rest of us have been busy for the last few hundred years building the arsenal of Democracy, something we will no longer be able to afford to do.
When we have weakened ouselves beyond the capacity to adequately project strength into our enemies territory, then our enemies will begin coming to us. We aren’t used to that…and the clowns in Washington keep on thinking everyone just wants a circus. Idiots, with a capital I.
